Biography
Billy Flynn joined The Young and the Restless in June 2025 as “Cane Ashby”, who returned to Genoa City to reconnect with his ex-wife, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and make his mark among the other titans in town.
He is known to television audiences for his over ten year run as “Chad DiMera” on Days of our Lives. For his work on Days, Flynn received three Daytime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series.
Other film and television credits include guest appearances on Matlock, Hawaii-Five 0 as well as the feature films Dead on Arrival, and Escape Room…
Originally from the Minneapolis area, Billy is a graduate of St. Cloud State University where he earned a degree in Finance and major in Economics. After completing his studies, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career.
Billy and his wife, Gina live in Los Angeles with their two sons.
